The World Food Forum Ghana Chapter under the auspices of the World Food Forum facilitated by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, is a dynamic youth-led initiative aimed at transforming agri-food systems in Ghana. The chapter is committed to leveraging the enthusiasm and innovative capacities of Ghanaian youth to enhance food security, promote sustainable practices, and influence agricultural policies. By connecting young minds with global networks and local resources. The WFF Ghana Chapter seeks to foster actionable solutions that lead to a more sustainable and food-secure future. The WFF serves as the premier global forum to harness the passion and power of Ghanaian youth to identify solutions and incite positive action for agrifood systems.

Ghana faces significant challenges in food security and agricultural sustainability. The WFF Ghana Chapter seeks to address these issues by mobilizing the energy, creativity, and knowledge of young people. By focusing on innovative solutions and sustainable practices, the chapter aims to improve food production systems and ensure more reliable access to nutritious food across the country.

Enhancing Global and Local Networks

By establishing a local chapter of
the WFF, Ghana can tap into a global network of expertise and resources, which can lead to better outcomes in local agrifood initiatives. The chapter will
facilitate knowledge exchange between international experts and local stakeholders, fostering innovation and the adaptation of global best practices to local contexts.

Building Capacity and
Sustainability

The chapter aims to build capacity among young farmers, entrepreneurs, and students through training programs, workshops, and real-world projects. These activities are designed not only to improve immediate agricultural outputs but also to ensure long-term sustainability and resilience of food systems facing the impacts of climate change and economies
